UV Coating Advantage
UV coating means ultraviolet coating cured, adopting UV coating onto surface of presswork. UV coating is fast dry after ultraviolet cured. Its working principle is after ultraviolet shining, photoinitiator of UV oil absorbs radiant energy then forms into free radical and cation, leading monocase and prepolymer react polymerization and cross linking reaction. Three dimension network structure high molecular polymer was formed in short time.
With the knowledgeable of UV coating technology and UV coating material price sharply decrease, UV coating technology and its unique advantage, it is widely used in printing industry. Static shown that UV coating artwork’s application is increasing as 12%-14% yearly.
UV coating advantage:
1. Safety and Environmental
Ultraviolet UV coating artwork used UV coating material, which is made of low polymer, active diluent, photoinitiator and additive. It is 100% solid without any kind of volatile solvent, safety and environment friendly production.
2. Do not limit by various kinds of printing stock.
3. Working at low temperature condition, available for printing thermal printing stock like plastic and etc.
4. High quality production. UV Coating is fast curing, durable, good wettability and excellent adhesion. Presswork after UV coating is nice smooth brightness surface, durable, rub-resistance, water-proof and abnormal odour.
5. Finished UV coating presswork can be processed, cutting, die cutting, shaped, folding and etc at once.
6. High efficiency and low use cost. Ultraviolet wavelength is 200-400mm, invisible light, UV oil adopts wavelength 315nm (UVA), with fast curing speed, and drying within 1 or 2 second for high working efficiency. Generally drying speed reaches 100-300 m/min. when compare with Oiling/ Press polish flow, its equipment is small space and low consumption.
